The Kodiak Community Foundation (KCF) is excited to announce the opening of our 2026 Kodiak Community Foundation Grant Cycle! Apply starting August 17th and submit finalized applications September 18th, 2026.
Since launching our first grant cycle in 2014, KCF has proudly invested in projects that strengthen the Kodiak Archipelago. Through the generosity of our donors, we have awarded more than $204,485.16 to local nonprofits, organizations, and community initiatives that enhance the quality of life across our island communities and $24,240.44 over the 2025 KCF Grant Cycle.
Every grant represents an investment in the people, ideas, and organizations that make Kodiak a vibrant place to live, work, and thrive. We are incredibly grateful to the donors whose generosity continues to create lasting opportunities for our community.
Eligible nonprofits, organizations, schools, tribal entities, and community groups are encouraged to review the grant guidelines and submit an application through our online Grants Portal.

The 2025 Kodiak Community Foundation (KCF) Grant Cycle concluded with another successful year of investing in the Kodiak Archipelago, culminating in a memorable Donor & Grantee Appreciation Event held in October 2025. The evening celebrated the meaningful partnerships between generous donors, dedicated nonprofit organizations, and community leaders who share a commitment to strengthening Kodiak for future generations. Guests had the opportunity to connect, hear inspiring stories of local impact, and recognize the organizations whose projects were selected for funding through the 2025 grant cycle. The event highlighted the vital role philanthropy plays in addressing local needs while fostering collaboration across the community. By bringing together those who make charitable giving possible with those carrying out transformative work, KCF reinforced its mission of building permanent charitable resources that benefit the Kodiak Archipelago for generations to come. The overwhelmingly positive response and strong attendance reflected the community’s continued investment in local solutions and demonstrated the growing momentum behind KCF’s vision of creating lasting, community-driven impact.
