The Kodiak Community Foundation has reached the Rasmuson match! The goal was to raise $25,000 in the first year, which would then be met by $50,000 from the Rasmuson Foundation and an additional $5,000 for immediate local grantmaking!
“The Kodiak Community Foundation is very excited to have reached this match goal, and deeply thankful to the members of our community who contributed to this success,” says Katie St. John of the Kodiak Community Foundation Advisory Board. “With the match, we not only contribute a significant amount to our community’s permanent chest, but we also receive funds to grant out immediately to our community. We plan to continue to educate our community about opportunities to support the foundation while also developing and implementing our first grant cycle. It will be an exciting and busy year for us.”
