As we head into the fourth quarter of 2024, the Kodiak Community Foundation is excited to announce our fourth and final local matchmaker for 2024 — Harborside Coffee and Goods. Owner Doreece Mutch is a longtime supporter of the Kodiak Community Foundation and has generously agreed to match up to $2,000 in donations to any Kodiak Community Foundation fund through December 31, 2024.
In past years, Harborside has generously partnered with us for Giving Tuesday to help promote Coffee for a Cause. On the Tuesday after Thanksgiving, they typically donated a portion of their proceeds to our endowed funds. This year, they’ve agreed to shake things up with us and become a local matchmaker to help make your donations go farther! Think of it as a three month coffee for a cause!
Harborside’s $2,000 match, along with your donations, will be added to our endowed funds to grow and support our community for decades to come. Harborside, and its Fly-By and Wheel Watch branches, are literally investing in our community, and we couldn’t be more thankful.
